Reforestation Technologies is the nation's premier and longest-standing supplier of high-quality mycorrhizal inoculants. Our commitment to quality and consistency has positioned us as a leading supplier and formulator of arbuscular mycorrhizal inoculants. In addition to producing mycorrhizae, RTI has developed a diverse range of Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria, with each microbe carefully selected for its unique contribution to plant and soil health.

Our success stems from providing biological solutions to some of the most challenging mining reclamation and habitat restoration projects across the continent. Our impressive track record includes long-term relationships with clients who have been with us since the mid-1990s. We take pride in the quality and reliability of our products and welcome any interested commercial partners to visit our facilities, see how we can surpass the highest standards in commercial inoculant production.

Greenhouse & Laboratory Research

RTI’s research focus is on beneficial microbial and bio-stimulant products, their performance by crop, and any interactions (both positively and negatively) that may occur.  The company operates a 3,500 sq. ft. state-of-the-art greenhouse as well as 7,000 sq. ft. of fabric-covered open sites for outdoor trials. Our greenhouse and laboratory facilities provide a unique opportunity to offer a range of research and analytical services to companies wishing to examine crop and soil biological assessments.  The climate of Gilroy, Ca is moderated by its close proximity to the Pacific Ocean which is about 20 miles. The proximity keeps the daytime temperature in the 70°F / 23°C range for most of the year, dipping in the winter to nighttime lows near freezing and midsummer days to the low 90s°F / +32°C.  An abundance of non-chlorinated water is available from a well on the property that delivers a premium quality source for both drinking and irrigation needs.  Filtered reverse osmosis water is also available for certain types of evaluation.

R&D
Quality Control Lab

Each batch of RTI’s biologicals is individually tested to ensure that the product meets standards for infectivity potential (number of propagules), cleanliness, and viability.

RTI operates four laboratories dedicated to culturing various biological inoculants and ensuring that quality meets RTI's market standard.

Independent Laboratory Analysis Reports

Spore and propagule counts are tested internally to assure that all inoculum meets the infectivity potential claimed on the label. A third-party laboratory analysis is also used by RTI to verify standards.
